DOMAINE JONES Blanc Barrique
Oak, fresh fruit, lively, nuts with a traditional edge. This wine was an accident. It was a left over barrel from our first vintage in 2009 which was too oaky to go into our Jones Grenache Gris (Green label). When we lost all of our 2012 to vandals, we revisited this lonely barrel and were amazed by the complexity and style of the wine. We loved it so much that we bottled it separately and have been enjoying it ever since. Only 50 cases produced.FULL NOTES

"…notes of toasted almonds, dried stone, white flowers and white fruit. You can see the toastiness from the barrel ageing but the fruit continues to emerge with more time in glass."
