Grenache Gris 2020

Vineyard Collection

Delicate bouquet of wild spring flowers, almond blossom, melon and a hint of fennel. This is the first vintage from my new to me vineyard ‘La Grande Pièce’ just under the imposing Cathar Castle of Aguilar in Tuchan. The vines are at least 50 years old and we saved them from being ripped up and being replanted by higher producing vines!

Tasting notes

Delicate bouquet of wild spring flowers, almond blossom, melon and a hint of fennel. This wine comes from my vineyard under the imposing Cathar Castle of Queribus in Maury in the Roussillon where Domaine Jones started back in 2009. It is made exclusively from old vine Grenache Gris – quite a rarity!
